4 sports tips to stay motivated
Let me start by saying that whatever the situation, you shouldn’t feel like you ‘have to’ work out. There’s nothing you have to do, and that goes for the gym too. What matters is that you are motivated every time you work out. So it is important to inspire yourself and have a goal.
Great and innovative apps
No motivation, no time, no money – whatever your reason for not working out at the gym, there is always an alternative: working out at home. And of course the best way to do that is with a great coach by your side, or a great app. My favourites? FitBooster, Dagelijkse trainingen (Daily workouts) and Xfit Yoga.
A fashionable outfit
Like hitting targets, a new look also gives you new motivation. You look better, you feel more confident and that means you’ll get more out of your workout too. So what are you waiting for? Go and buy a new outfit! Recommended: The items from the new Sylvie Sport Collection.
The right sports gear
Besides a sports bra with the right support, it is important to choose the right sports gear – particularly if you are working out at home. For example, a kettle bell, a medicine ball and dumbbells, which you can use for just about everything – from squats to deadlifts and from triceps to biceps. And let’s face it: there’s nothing more motivating than variety in your workout sessions.
A good beat
Another essential is a good beat. With music in your ears, you can forget about your thoughts, pain and tiredness and just go for it! And that’s exactly what you want, right? You can view my favourite numbers on Spotify Befitandworkout.
What keeps you motivated to work out? Tips are always welcome!
