5 tips for working out in the summer
The summer is in full swing and we just can’t get enough of the sun! We can’t to get our bikinis on and show off the bodies we’ve worked so hard for. Are you still working on your summer body? Then be sure to read these tips! Beat the heat with these workout tips.
Know when to work out
As you’ve probably noticed, some parts of the day are warmer than others. You’re best avoiding high-intensity workouts between 12:00 and 15:00 as that is the warmest time of the day. In the summer, it’s best to work out early in the morning (before you go to work) or late in the evening.
Wear the right sportswear
It may seem obvious, but we’re going to say it again anyway. Choose sportswear that’s light and breathable, and short. Working out in warm clothing is not fun at all, and you’ll be more likely to give up. Wear a sports bra with a sheer top and shorts. You may prefer to wear leggings for certain sports, but don’t worry, we have plenty of leggings with mesh!
It’s really important to keep hydrated in this heat, especially if you’re working out. You sweat a lot when working out, and you need to replace all the lost fluid. Drinking plenty of water is the best solution. If you’re not a fan of plain water, add some fruit to give it more flavour. This water bottle is perfect for doing just that. And it looks great too!

This warm weather won’t last forever. So try and make the most of it! Put on your fave sportswear, make sure you stay well-hydrated, and head into the shade. Autumn will be here before you know it!
