Perfect hot spots for a first date
Hunkemöller ambassador Fabienne shares the 7 best hot spots for a first date, from her own experience! Guaranteed success!
Dating. Some think it’s fun while others get nervous just thinking about it. Nevertheless, if you are single and ready to mingle, you will have to go out on dates. When it comes to dating, it is important to have fun and see it as socialising.
Try to stay level-headed, without too many expectations. I know, that is sometimes easier said than done. I have to admit, during my years as a singleton, I dated quite a bit and yes, I finally found my Mr Right. (secret: via Tinder)
I have lined up some date tips just for you single ladies!
First of all: be yourself. Of course you make an extra effort with your outfit & look because you want to make a fantastic first impression, but don’t go overboard.
Also important: be on time! you wouldn’t like it either if your date showed up half an hour late.
Date hot spots
I wouldn’t go to the cinema or a restaurant on a first date. (laughing out loud with bits of food in your teeth is a real date nightmare!)
But what else is there to do on a first date? Choose a fun activity which you could leave after a short time if it isn’t working out. It is better to be honest after 10 minutes if there is no click instead of getting a friend to call with some kind of excuse. (yes, I am guilty of this and believe me, men aren’t stupid!) 😉
1. Walk through the park or on the beach
It may sound a bit lame, but a walk is perfect for a first date. You’re outside in the fresh air and don’t have to keep looking at each other. A perfect solution to tackle those first-date nerves.
You can combine a picnic and a walk. Take a blanket and open a bottle of wine. And if there isn’t a click, you can finish off your wine and be on your way.
3. Wine tasting
Do you both love a glass of wine? Go wine tasting together. You normally get a fun tour at a vineyard and together you learn how you should drink wine. Just make sure you don’t drink too much because getting drunk on a first date isn’t the best idea.
Together on a bench. Eating an ice cream. Chatting away. Sounds good, right?
If the weather is lovely, you can canoe through canals or on a lake. Very romantic and it almost can’t go wrong. With the sun shining down on you and beautiful, relaxed surroundings, it could become a super date!
Are you both creative? Then stand in front of a canvas together and let your creativity flow. And if this person turns out to be the love of your life, then you have a fun, tangible memory of your first date!
7. Playing tennis
Play tennis together. You’re having a good time playing sports together and when you’re finished, you can go and have a drink in the canteen.
Hopefully after reading this blog you all have enough inspiration for a nice first date. Think of it as a fun activity and don’t think too much about the outcome. Just go for it and see where you end up! Have lots of dating fun girls!
